Accepting these terms

These terms apply when you use this website or hire Anchorstone Laredo Concrete and Masonry for work at your property. By using the site, calling us or sending a request through our contact form, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

On this page, "we," "us" and "our" mean Anchorstone Laredo Concrete and Masonry. "You" means the person using the site or asking us for work.

The services we offer

We're a masonry contractor in Laredo, TX, and we also do concrete work. The services on our home page and service pages describe the kind of work we take on, such as foundation repair, tuckpointing, retaining walls and driveway pavers. They aren't an offer to do any particular job at any particular price.

The work we'll do at your house is set out in the written estimate or agreement for your job. If that document and this page ever disagree, the document for your job controls. You can read more about who we are and how we work on our About page.

Estimates and pricing

Our estimates are free, in person and obligation-free. We look at the job in person because masonry pricing depends on what's there, such as access to the work area, the condition of the existing brick or concrete, drainage and the materials you pick.

An estimate is our good-faith price for the work as it's described. If we open up the job and find something we couldn't see before, like damaged block behind a wall face or a footing that isn't sound, we'll stop, show you and agree on any change in writing before we do the extra work.

An estimate is good for the period written on it, because material and labor costs change. Nothing on this website is a quote for your job.

Scheduling and cancellation

We put your job on the schedule once you accept the estimate. Start and finish dates are our best plan and not a promise, because rain, extreme heat, material delays, inspections and earlier jobs running long can move them. We'll tell you as soon as we know a date has to shift.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, call us at (956) 508-9135 as early as you can. Any deposit refund, or any charge for materials already ordered or cut for your job, follows the terms in your written agreement.

You agree to give our crew safe access to the work area and to keep vehicles, pets and children clear while we work. If we arrive and can't reach the work, we may need to reschedule.

Payment

Deposits, payment amounts and due dates are set out in your estimate or agreement. Unless that document says otherwise, the remaining balance is due when the work is complete.

If a payment is late, we may pause work until it's paid. We may also charge late fees or collection costs where your agreement and Texas law allow them.

Our guarantee and what it doesn't cover

Our work is backed by our satisfaction guarantee, so if something we built isn't right, call us and we'll come look at it. Any specific warranty on workmanship is the one written in your agreement, and warranties on products come from the company that makes them.

We don't cover problems we didn't cause, such as soil movement, poor drainage, tree roots, misuse, lack of upkeep or changes someone else makes after we finish. Brick, natural stone and concrete vary in color and texture, and concrete can show hairline cracks as it cures, so those aren't defects on their own.

This website is provided "as is." We try to keep it accurate, but we don't promise it's complete, current or free of errors, and it isn't professional advice for your property.

Limits on our liability

To the extent Texas law allows, Anchorstone Laredo Concrete and Masonry isn't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages from your use of this website or our services, such as lost income or loss of use of part of your property. Our total liability for any job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that Texas law says can't be limited.

Resolving disagreements

If you're unhappy with our work or a bill, tell us first. Call (956) 508-9135 or reach us through our Contact page, and we'll try to work it out with you directly.

If we can't settle it that way, either of us may take the matter to the courts that serve Laredo, Texas, unless your written agreement sets a different process such as mediation.

Governing law

These terms, your use of this website and any work we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on this page applies from the day it's posted.

An update doesn't change an agreement you've already signed with us for a job. That agreement stays as written.

Questions about these terms

If anything here is unclear, call us at (956) 508-9135 or send a message through our Contact page, and we'll explain it before you hire us.
